The artist created a digital nonsexual human simulator in her own shape for the rst time to complete an artwork. Because of the powerful curse in the content of the work, the artist has to apply the spell to herself to avoid harming others.This work is the artist’s re ection on her creation in the past, at present and in the future. Is consciousness adhere to the brain? Where on earth is consciousness? The artist simulates the delusions of damaging herself and her works over and over again in her work. It can be sure that these delusions will eventually come true.
艺术家以自己为原型创建的一个数字化无性别的人类模拟作品,艺术家使用了自己身体为创作原型展开实验。 作品中围绕着她一直感兴趣的神经科学展开,利用脑立体定向系统,深层脑刺激以及经颅磁刺激技术作用于深 脑边缘系统的原理,并代入宗教视觉和对器世界的无常观想,进行客观妄 想。此作品是艺术家对自身过去、现在以及未来创作工作的反思。陆扬通过作品模拟实施了一次次对自身以及自身作品摧毁的妄想设置,通过这些 模拟设置来思考人类意识的存在,以 及意识与大脑的关系。此次展览中的 作品是艺术家进行的与以往作品的延伸与比对,通过不同方式与途径的微妙构造进行观想和修行,构造着属于她自己独特的妄想曼陀罗。

Lu Yang is a Shanghai-based new media artist. She graduated from China Academy of Art in 2010 and has so far produced a series of boundary- pushing multimedia works that explore neuroscience, mortality and religion.
